We know that often enough there’s a gap between an individual’s true capability  and how others perceive them. This gap often holds brilliant people back. They may be doing excellent work but somehow, they’re not getting the recognition, opportunities, or clients they deserve.

Many accomplished professionals, including business owners, hesitate around visibility because of its association with self-promotion.

So they rely on performance alone. “My work will speak for itself”, I’ve heard some of them say.

But success also depends on visibility. Not self-promotion but strategic positioning. Knowing how to show up, speak up, and be recognised for the work you do.

On Amplified, I speak with entrepreneurs to uncover the real story behind their visibility and growth — what’s worked and what hasn’t.

WHO IS THIS SHOW FOR?

I decided in November 2025 to create this show to support small and medium-sized businesses across Australia including micro businesses, solopreneurs or those who are exploring the gig economy.

Indeed, success does depend on visibility but for the right reasons, and in the right way. You’ve got to know how to show up, speak up and be recognised for the work you do.

Launched in May 2026, this show is not about all the bells and whistles. While we do celebrate wins and triumphs, I also want to hear about the struggles along the way, the losses faced, and how you’ve overcome them.

Know this — you’re not alone. Many of our deepest fears and worries are more common than we think.

What you need to know: This is not just for those growing an established business. You may be starting from scratch or at the ideation stage. Or you may be building a side gig while holding down a full-time or part-time role. This is for you too. I want these stories to be heard; they deserve the spotlight.

If you’re building something of your own, I hope these conversations help you show up, speak up, and be recognised for the work you do.
