Four weeks to bring your vision to life

Four weeks to bring your vision to life

Why two founders developed a Visibility Sprint just for women

Written by Rowena Morais

I started out my career with the belief that if I excel at my work, if I put in the time and effort, my work would speak for itself. But since those early days, I’ve come to realise that this isn’t  the case. Work can and has gone unnoticed. Some of my accomplishments have remained hidden. Sitting quietly in the corner, pumping out work, is simply not the way.

I’ve watched less experienced voices get opportunities because they’re out there more and appear louder. Good on them, but I realise that it’s also taken me time to build my voice.

Visibility matters but you’ve not found a way that feels right until now

I’ve had to battle frustration as the words tumbled out wrong, messages got mixed up, and circumstances shifted.

And I’ve seen similar emotions and dilemmas with the women I’ve worked with. Women who decided to step away from the workforce to take a timeout or catch a breath.

Maybe this is you. You’ve done the work and yet remain unseen. You’ve tried to stand up and be noticed but struggled with the discomfort.

At what cost do you keep saying no?

I’ve seen the shift in the seat and the uncertain pose when I ask women why they don’t work to make themselves more visible and the reasons for discomfort and reluctance.

So, there lies the gap between their visibility and impact in the workplace, in relationships, in leading others, and in effecting change or transformation.

And the cost of this is tremendous, precisely because it’s incalculable.

Missed opportunities, misalignment and even, burnout. Stalled progress.

For how long do you do that? At what cost?

Visbility reframed

But when we talk about visibility, what is this truly about?

It’s not just about visibility, it’s about building your reputation, standing strong in your presence through a clear profile that supports you and everything you do.

It’s in building an aligned and relevant network around you that ultimately, appreciates, acknowledges, supports and amplifies your value and contributions. It’s in crafting a tangible body of work that speaks to your expertise and experience.

I’m referring to professional visibility, aligned to your direction and goals.

I’ve known for some time that what women have often needed was a complete rewiring about how they’re looking at visibility.

Anchored support so you can move forward with a clear plan

And yet, I did nothing, maybe out of fear but mostly, from wanting to get everything lined up perfectly before I could begin my work.

Well, it all changed in January 2025 with my meeting with Krista Goon. That single meeting set a whole course of action in place, igniting a fire within us both.

In the course of learning more about the businesses we each started, Krista and I discovered similarities in our support of women and their careers and businesses. We’ve spent years growing these businesses and built credibility and reputation through our work. We had solutions and an approach we could share with others.

Here was an opportunity for us to do something different and unique, and to provide support and care in all the ways that mattered to us two. It felt non-negotiable.  We wanted to move beyond talking about the challenge we saw to doing something about it.

Why we opened the curtains

Weekly calls in January last year began to see a program taking shape, the idea had crystalised and we were bubbling over with excitement at what was unfolding. And Krista shared the crazy idea (it felt so at the time but looking back, I’m thrilled we did it) of documenting our process so we could bring others along on our journey.

Behind-the-scenes (BTS) videos and stories help readers to better understand the ‘why’  – I used to devour those founder stories in blogs many years ago, feeling like a fly on the wall as these trailblazers shared their deepest fears and wins (Here’s our very first episode, The Spark behind the Sprint).

As we brainstormed and planned our program, we kept that vision front and centre about who this program was built for.

You. The crazy dreamer who has done the work through the years yet struggles even today to talk about it. Because the doors aren’t opening.

You don’t want to shout but you want your work to stand out. Yet how?

We knew we didn’t want anything typical. So, we said, “no slide decks”  (our second episode unpacked the sprint).

We knew you had to do the work to bring your vision to life. So, four weeks would provide space and time.

We knew you’d want to hear from others. So, a small enough cohort for safety, stories and others to lean on.

It’s time to change the script

We want to meet you where you are, which is why we invest in getting to know you to discover if the fit and time are right for you. We focus on the message and the medium and we’re with you, every step of the way.

This is our program: From Vision to Voice, a four-week Visibility Sprint for women who do great work.

Distilled from our experience, it’s our response to supporting women who know they need to build their visibility, credibility and voice, but hate bragging, may be unsure how to express themselves, and don’t want to feel fake or loud.

It’s the bridge to get you across the line. In a way that feels right for you.

Where once you were hesitant, you’ll now move forward with confidence. You’ve reframed the issue and now, you’ll develop a refined, clear career or business narrative, strengthen self-belief which drives everything, and build a content roadmap aligned with your direction and goals.

If it feels right for you now, this is your invitation to step out of the corner and step forward without becoming someone you’re not. Check out our BTS YouTube series and our program. Our April intake is now open for application. For more information 👉 https://tinyurl.com/fromvisiontovoice
