INTRODUCTION TO THE PROGRAM

Safe conversations. Safe workplaces.

Workload stress, resistance to change, retaliation, lack of trust, and diversity challenges – these are issues many organisations, large and small, confront in an ever-evolving workplace. In an environment where collaboration, innovation, and effective communication are paramount for organisational growth, fostering psychological safety becomes a true cornerstone for success.

As we navigate the complexities of our roles within organisations, understanding the true value of, and prioritising psychological safety for all, isn’t just a necessity. It becomes a catalyst for improved productivity, collaboration,and employee well-being.

This program is designed to help you and your teams build better trust, improve team collaboration, and enhance performance. Through interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and relective practice sessions, participants will gain insights and practical tools for building and sustaining better relationships fostering open dialogue and promoting collaboration.

This program is practical and action-oriented. Change begins today and it begins with you.

Who this program is for

Designed to support management and supervisory teams, including senior managers, managers, team leaders and supervisors, to build more trust, improve team collaboration and enhance performance.

  • Learn how to use self-reflection as a powerful learning tool
  • Develop a personalised action plan
  • Gain more awareness of your legal rights and responsibilities as a leader and the importance of managing problems early
  • Take a strengths-based approach to managing neurodiversity, generational and cultural differences, communication styles and conflict styles
  • Become more comfortable transitioning between the different modes and styles needed for various work environments and different people

STEP 1

Attend full-day workshop

WORKSHOP

STEP 2

Select up to three group coaching sessions

REFLECTIVE PRACTICE
Safe space sessions held online
90 min sessions at mutually convenient pre-booked times

Agenda

Participants gather in small groups to practise their interpersonal skills whilst addressing workplace challenges. Cohorts have the flexibility to choose their meeting times.

All are encouraged to bring a workplace issue to each session, presenting it in a specific format.

STEP 3

Attend half-day final session

REFLECTIVE PRACTICE
Learnings and individual action plans.
The program concludes with lunch.

Agenda

Participants gather in one large group for a final reflective practice session. All will work with coaches to develop a personalised action plan. Post-program support is available.

REFLECTIVE PRACTICE

Participants gather in groups of not more than 10 to practise their interpersonal skills whilst addressing workplace challenges.

These groups, characterised by confidentiality, remain consistent throughout the entire program, offering a supportive and trusting environment. 

Cohorts have the flexibility to choose their meeting times. 

All are encouraged to bring a workplace issue to each session, presenting it in a specific format.

These groups serve as a powerful way to learn, fostering comfort by seeking help and providing an opportunity to share in the common human experience. 

Opportunities to continue with these reflective practices will be made available after the program, with or without the facilitator, depending on the needs of the group.

Rowena Morais

Creating spaces where it is safe for you to show up as you are, we are The Workplace Therapist. I work together with an awesome bunch of workplace therapists supporting workplaces as well as individuals, couples and families.  I bring over 15 years of experience supporting growth in workplaces and nearly 10 years working therapeutically with clients. I love what I do.

Content strategist, communications specialist, and trainer, I bring a rich two-decade journey that traverses diverse roles, from the legal realm to executive training, publishing, and providing top-notch marketing and communication services to clients.  I specialise in helping clients communicate authentically and with impact.
